    Thursday 13th November 2008, 9:30 - 12:00, ICC Birmingham

The 2008 Carplus Annual General Meeting - Car Clubs in Work Places

This year, Carplus' AGM is being held as a fringe meeting to the ACT Travelwise Conference, and to reflect this partnership the theme of the AGM is the role of car clubs in the business arena. Presentations and case studies from the public and private sectors will examine the new issues arising for employers in the climate of raised fuel prices and concerns over corporate manslaughter.

The event, which is also open to non-members, will outline Carplus' new work to support the not for profit model of car clubs to meet the demand out of the key cities. After the formal business, the session will end with an interactive quiz about the UK car club picture today.

Lunch at the ACTTravelwise conference can be reserved for £30 (free to full conference delegates)

Click here to book for the ACTTravelwise Conference at the discounted rate for Carplus members of £350.
